Job Description


At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Support Sales for our Vegetable Seeds team in Woodland, CA. As the Territory Sales Support Sales, you will support the Vegetable Seeds team by providing diverse administrative support activities as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines in the administration functional area

You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by:

  • Performing a variety of activities in support of commercial unit managers, sales operations, and support functions within the USA & Canadian Territory
  • Gathering, collecting, recording, tracking, and analyzing data and information from multiple sources
  • Using software for the functional area to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations

Accountabilities

  • Support projects and processes from Commercial Territory
  • Facilitate leaders and teams during meetings (meeting minutes, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
  • Troubleshoots and seeks issue resolution for Americas Vegetable Seeds USA & Canada Territory in the areas of information services, finance services, facilities, etc.
  • Assists with the meeting coordination for large events
  • Works with Sales Operations Lead, Campaign Lead, Finance Business Partner and Sales Managers on specific administrative support not limited to expense reports or travel arrangements
  • Coordinates and manages calendar and schedule for Territory Head
  • Assist with sales and other relevant reports such as sales, dealer inventories, bookings, sales plans,etc.


Qualifications


  • Associates degree and/or bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in Excel, Teams and Power Point, Power BI, Smartsheets management
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks on a regular basis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Networking & ability to facilitate “teamwork” approach

Preferred Requirements

  • SAP or any other similar ERP system management a plus
  • Sales Force knowledge
