Join our newly developed Housing Advice & Support Service for exciting opportunities to participate in the delivery of early interventions and preventative strategies to assist those households who are homelessness or threatened with homelessness.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Housing Advice Team for a Temporary Accommodation Officer to join us on a 24-month fixed term contract.

The role will be responsible for the delivering of an intensive housing management service according to service standards and in a person-centred way to our clients placed within temporary accommodation, ensuring that the environment is maintained, and outcomes achieved in relation to move-on into more permanent accommodation.

Ending homelessness doesn’t mean that no-one will ever lose their home again, but we want to make sure that everyone facing homelessness gets the right service, at the right time, to achieve the right outcome. It means making sure we all have a safe place to live, and together doing everything we can to stop people from losing their homes in the first place. These ambitions are reflected in our Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy 2019-24.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a motivated person with excellent communication skills who can manage their time effectively and prioritise their workload. You should be approachable and non-judgmental with the patience and determination to encourage our customers to achieve their goals employing a person-centred and strength-based approach.
