Marco Island Prime Dental is seeking a TEMP Hygienist to start right away, flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Patient screening procedures, such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse
- Reports to VP of Hygiene to stay afloat hygiene advances on periodontal disease treatment
- Must be comfortable with a structured Hygiene program
- Taking and developing dental xrays
- Single or Dual column hygiene (pay increases with dual)
- Removing calculus and plaque
- Applying preventive materials
- Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health
- Knowledge of Open Dental (preferred but not required)
- Must be a FL Registered Dental Hygienist
