We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a specialty in Telemetry to join our Trauma Acute Unit. This is a 13-week renewable contract with the potential for extension, offering both night and day 3x12 hour shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Monitoring and interpreting data from monitoring equipment, medical software, and equipment to identify irregular heartbeats and abnormal heart rhythms
- Administering medications and treatments
- Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
- Educating patients about their conditions and teaching appropriate disease management techniques
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nursing License
- Specialization in Telemetry
- Experience working in a Trauma Acute Unit or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Compliance with COVID-19 and Flu vaccine guidelines (Medical/Religious exemptions only)
- Adherence to the 50-mile radius rule
