Cardiovascular Technologist - $40 to $58 per Hour
Coos Bay, OR
Uses a variety of specialized equipment in assisting the physician in the performance of all invasive procedures, resulting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease providing the highest level of patient care.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $58.00 DOE
- Salary Rate: $83,200 - $120,640 (based on 40-hour work week)

- Starting salaries for experienced staff are above the industry standard

Schedule
- Full time
- Day Shift; 8 hour days; 80 hours per two-week pay period
Position Details
- Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned Department
- Demonstrates above average technical skills and knowledge
- Must be able to take call
- Familiar with cardiovascular tests and the administration of duties related to them
- Complete understanding of vascular and related organ anatomy
- Medical terminology
- Knowledge of how to place leads and electrodes
Requirements
- Required - Hold 2 of the following Certifications: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Vascular Intervention, Cardiac Intervention
- Prior cardiovascular lab experience - Required
- 3 years relevant experience in a Cardiac Cath lab - Preferred
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting - Preferred
- ACLS, ARRT, BLS
- Current registration with Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) - Required
- Bachelor’s degree - Preferred
