Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent an established, yet growing laboratory in Gainesville, FL! They are looking for a qualified Histology Technical Supervisor to join their team.Job Summary:
Oversees technical operations in the lab, including administrative and technical support of laboratory operations, problem resolution, technical development and procedure implementation, purchasing, etc. Performs analytical procedures when required. Responsible for quality assurance functions, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Assumes operational responsibility during the manager's absence.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Five years of experience/training as a Histotechnologist and must be eligible for Florida state licensure as a supervisor.
- Minimum of five years of lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Must possess a current license as a state of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in the appropriate lab area or be eligible for a temporary license.
- ASCP certification is strongly preferred.
- Temporary licensure must be permanent within one year of accepting the position; if not, the position is automatically forfeited.
- 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
- Minimum Pay Rate - Hourly: $31.78
