Diligent Robotics is searching for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive our development schedule, dependency tracking and reporting. As a Technical Program Manager you will own the development and release schedule by working across several engineering teams, identifying dependencies and raising issues before they become fires. The ideal candidate is self driven, detail-oriented, has strong interpersonal skills and has experience working on complex robotics products in a fast-paced environment. This person thrives in a fast paced development environment and has the ability to make rapid decisions. You can deal with ambiguous situations, remove obstacles and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.

The Product team at Diligent Robotics is a diverse group of user-centric, strategic and analytical leaders turning innovative ideas into a reality. We're passionate about building robotics products with our users in mind – from robot behavior and decision making to hardware design to the data, applications, integrations and tools around our robots. We work directly with company leadership to drive development priorities and clients to identify new ways we can improve their day-to-day. As a member Product, you'll join a team of product managers, ux designers and program managers passionate about robotics and automation in healthcare.

What you'll be doing.

As the Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will expertly take strategic priorities and turn them into detailed development schedules. This role will manage dependencies, timelines and keeping tabs on release schedules to ensure we hit all our requirements. The TPM will work cross-functionally to align various engineering teams on what needs to get done when. You'll have a nose for when the various trains are running off course and own the escalation process to get all stakeholders together for rapid decision making.

• Partner with software, hardware, and other teams across Diligent to set timelines and own the launch schedule for new robotic solutions
• Work alongside product management to turn new requirements into clear development timelines, raise dependencies and call out risks across the organization
• Collaborate with Product, UX, CIS and Operations on rolling out new autonomous capabilities with clear launch and test schedules
• Communicate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical leadership on status and timelines
• Work closely with engineering managers and tech leads to identify blockers and needed clarity
• Proactively work to improve and streamline planning and launch processes

What you bring to the table.

A successful candidate will have a mix of technical experiences, is detail-oriented, has strong interpersonal skills and can communicate with a variety of stakeholders.

• 3+ years working on technical software or hardware projects and/or relevant education
• Experience working cross-functionally, ideally with complex robotics projects
• Analytical, organized and results oriented
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work in a very rapidly changing environment
• Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Be able to disagree, yet align, when dealing with different stakeholders

Nice to have, but not a deal breaker.

• Scrum / Agile training with 2+ experience in running scrums, sprint grooming & planning, and reviewing agile project metrics
• Experience with Atlassian SCM Suite (Confluence /JIRA) helpful
• Education or direct relevant experience in project management
