We are seeking an ambitious, experienced Team Member- Paint (pay starting at $17.00 +shift premium with an increase after 90 days!!) for our manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama
Responsibilities
Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
Facilitates painting production by loading/unloading, inspecting and packaging parts by performing the following duties:
- Positions part onto rack.
- Checks for proper placement.
- Inspects part for proper assembly, or defects.
- Sands defects.
- Inspects painted parts for defects. Marks defects.
- Packages parts according to instructions.
- Completes required production paperwork to document production.
- Uses computer to order or send away production materials.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
Quality
- Ensures product and processes meet the standards relating to quality and STAKA.
- Ensures that process and product deviations from specification are documented and reported.
- Performs tasks according to inspection, handling, packing, gauging instructions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and differentiate colors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Required:
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
