Saint Simons Day School, the island’s newest private preschool and daycare, is looking for energetic and enthusiastic teachers to join our program. We are a locally owned, private Christian-based preschool serving children ages 6 weeks through 4 years old. We are located mid-island near Harris Teeter. Each of our five classrooms has two full-time teachers who closely work with each other and teach using the Abeka curriculum.

We currently need an additional full-time 1yr old room AND a 3 yr old room teacher. Starting pay depends on experience. **Childcare experience in a center preferred**

Education and experience in this class is required, we would prefer a year experience. We seek candidates who have the natural ability to connect with children, are patient, and have a strong character. You are responsible for teaching, assisting and caring for children each day with another teacher helping. Time management and organization are a must for this class. Both positions are Monday-Friday, 8:30am -5:30pm.

New employees will need CPR/First Aid certification (which we will help set up) and will need to be able to pass a background check (which we will coordinate and pay for.) Training after hours is required in this center, please be aware before accepting.

Full time employees are eligible for free or discounted childcare and paid time off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
