The **Tax Specialist** works in a team environment where he/she draws on and develops their tax expertise and partners with groups across the company to fully comply with income tax reporting requirements while legally minimizing the company's tax liability. Two positions available. Experience in federal income tax compliance, (1120’s, 1065’s, etc.) and state income tax or a combination of these areas will be considered.
+ Preparing U.S. reporting requirements of Phillips 66 and subsidiaries. This includes corporate and partnership income tax returns as well as various other reporting requirements.
+ Accumulating, analyzing, and processing financial accounting data in order to prepare tax returns, estimated tax payments, forecasts and financial accounting estimates of tax in a manner which is cost effective and legally minimizes the company's tax liability.
+ Interpreting and apply federal and/or state revenue codes, regulations, rulings and procedures, case law, announcements, and notices to company transactions.
+ Assisting in developing responses to inquiries by various taxing authorities.
+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ 1 or more years of relevant tax and/or financial accounting experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Master’s degree in Tax
+ CPA
+ 4 or more years relevant tax experience, including partnership taxation
+ SAP and CorpTax experience
+ Strong financial, analytical and computer skills
