As a tax accountant, you'll be part of a strong, growing tax accounting organization with an overall goal of keeping our finances healthy to ensure Progressive remains a strong company. You’ll concentrate on preparing and maintaining tax information reports. In addition to collecting data and verifying its accuracy, you’ll need to recognize when tax issues arise and develop and present recommendations to management.
Location: Cleveland, Ohio – Remote work allowed.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
Preferred skills
- Certified Public Accountant designation
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines and utilize productive work habits
- Strong organizational skills (planning, time management and prioritization)
- Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
Compensation
- $49,700 - $62,100/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
