The Talent Coordinator serves as a key member of the Recruiting team and the Talent Acquisition processes. The Talent Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all talent management functions, including but not limited to the creation of job postings, submittal of background checks for candidates, submittal of DOT driver backgrounds, candidate phone screens, scheduling interviews, and assistance with recruiting events. This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and may receive direction from the Talent Acquisition Leads and Talent Acquisition Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the consistent point of contact for the Candidate, the Hiring Manager, and the Recruiter to facilitate and ensure the best possible experience for all parties.
  • Coordinate and expedite all administrative processes to drive effective and efficient talent acquisition efforts.
  • Coordinate and complete necessary tasks to secure an accurate and compliant job requisition in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and to develop an accurate and enticing job posting for career sites and job boards.
  • Manage and curate all talent acquisition templates and documents in the ATS and on the share drive.
  • Coordinate and assist in the continual development and maintenance of the talent acquisition process and procedure guide.
  • Coordinate talent acquisition social media efforts.
  • When requested, assist Recruiters with scheduling and coordinating candidate interviews.
  • Coordinate, make travel arrangements, and host candidate trips to HOLT locations for talent acquisition purposes.
  • Coordinate HOLT job fair/career expo efforts, including coordinating the expo calendar; completing and submitting registration requirements; confirming times, dates, locations, and attendees for HOLT. Also, maintain and distribute an adequate supply of HOLT event equipment and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed to maximize the impact of HOLT’s talent acquisition Team.
  • Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT’s Values-Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Two years of administrative experience in a recruiting or staffing environment is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of standard human resources management concepts, practices, and procedures are preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills to coordinate and facilitate people and processes
  • Consulting and influencing abilities; ability to resolve conflicts, and gain cooperation among competing interest groups
  • Beginning understanding of process development and improvement to facilitate prompt and constructive solutions
  • Basic knowledge of laws, statutes, regulations, and administrative procedures associated with employment, as well as employee relations, recruitment, and selection processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems
  • Problem-solving expertise and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, as well as with outside individuals and groups
  • Ability to manage both day-to-day operations, as well as project work in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deal effectively with employees and management
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

Travel:

  • Minimal travel required
  • Valid Driver’s License
