Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Integration / Test Engineer Senior for a position in Archbald, PA.

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Lockheed Martin Archbald is a full-service Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) facility that provides design, manufacturing, engineering, & field service support for both domestic and international customers. Our site manufacturers many products within the Precision Guided Systems (PGS), Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) and other MFC lines of business. For over 70 years our products feature safety-critical systems for nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, & commercial nuclear power plants while also designing and manufacturing air-to-ground weapon and training systems for the US Military and international allied customers.

The Locale: Archbald is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is part of Lackawanna County in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or AAS degree with equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience.
• Experience developing formal test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Experience with the preparation and presentation of test briefing materiel.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Experience in a role with responsibility to work with others in completing program objectives.
• Ability to facilitate and coordinate test activities while maintaining schedule and cost.
• Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders (eg. Customer) to meet desired testing requirements and test activities.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Experience working with Nuclear Instrumentation and Control (I&C) equipment
• Current/prior military experience in the nuclear field
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to work with others and lead teams to meet scheduled goals/deadlines
• Electrical/Electro-mechanical Experience preferred
• Ability to comprehend electrical schematics/mechanical drawings
• Experience in developing test plan and procedures

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
