The Challenge:

We’re looking for a junior systems administrator to help us support customers and grow their technical skillset.

The systems administrator on our project will work night shift, troubleshooting priority 1 outages and operational issues, and will collaborate with the application team and other team members to resolve outages. Perform software updates and patches, as necessary, and utilize monitoring systems, including SolarWinds and Splunk. Manage Active Directory, group policy, and account issues. Interpret technical information to create and send written notifications and situation reports.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience with Windows Operating Systems

• Knowledge of Active Directory and group policy

• Knowledge of ports and their function

• Ability to troubleshoot Windows systems

• Ability to recognize and clearly report Systems information

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of monitoring systems, including SolarWinds and Splunk

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
