Summary:
Goldbelt CP Marine, LLC is looking for a Systems Administrator.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:

  • Install, update, troubleshoot, monitor, optimize and maintain system(s)/server(s) and associated configurations.
  • Conduct OS and application STIG remediation activities in accordance with established standards and cybersecurity audit readiness plan.
  • Install, manage, and maintain application software in accordance with established standards and hosting facility preventative maintenance vulnerability management plan.
  • Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability of Unix/Windows systems for production as well as development, test, and COOP platforms.
  • Request and manage certificates and provide certificates to hosting facility when required.
  • Conduct periodic system maintenance including cleaning, disk checks, routine reboots, data dumps, and testing.
  • Manage WSUS, HBSS, ACAS, and GPO updates to remote devices.
  • Address POA&M items as required to include zero-day issues.
  • Check system availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Diagnose faulty system/server hardware and Perform repairs or contact the appropriate Point of Contact for required repairs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain HBSS.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory.
  • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Provide system software maintenance and enhancement support which shall include evaluating and optimizing systems software, analyzing new software releases to determine impact on existing applications, maintaining, testing, and debugging system software, installing releases, and maintaining various utilities, providing assistance to users of systems software, and preparing and editing system documentation.
  • Provide Tier 3 help desk support as needed.
  • Provide afterhours support as needed.
  • For planning purposes, the following estimates can be used, but extenuating circumstances and unforeseen system issues could increase actual hours required.
    • Routine after-hours support on a weekly basis is 10 or less hours.
    • Quarterly, patching after hours is required and this would require approximately 12-15 hours.
  • Notify the NADACS Program Manager/Project Manager and/or designated representative of systems degradations or issues.
  • Complete After-Action Reports (AAR) for all abnormal operations or other required reporting for system incidents.
  • Develop and document NADACS systems administration standard operating procedures and comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Be responsible for NADACS Cybersecurity and security posture across all NADACS systems/servers and maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
  • This responsibility includes, but not limited to maintaining the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Computer Network Defense (CND) Directives, and all other DoD/Navy Cybersecurity instructions as they become.
  • Applicable, such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), to keep NADACS servers in compliance.
  • Design group policies and access control lists to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs.
  • Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment per NADACS Access Control Plan.
  • Manage mission owner Active Directory Domain.
  • Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.
  • Monitor scheduled backups and restore files (server baselines), as requested.
  • Participate with team during Scrum meetings.
  • Assure compliance with existing Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of VMWare and Windows operation and functions Knowledge of hardware configuration.
  • Knowledge of system performance characteristics.
  • Knowledge of system security Knowledge of effective supervisory principles and practices.
  • Ability to perform system/operations programming and to support operations in the absence of staff.
  • Considerable knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of computers and related peripheral equipment and information technology
  • Knowledge of the principles and methods used in obtaining maximum utilization of computing equipment.
  • Ability to understand and utilize software-reporting capabilities along with the various languages used to do so.
  • General knowledge of the particular office or business functions supported.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and two years directly related experience;
    • or Associate's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and technical certification(s) and three years directly related experience;
    • or High School degree and technical certification(s) and six years directly related experience;
    • or High School degree and eight years directly related experience.
  • Degrees must be from an accredited college or institution.
  • Certifications: IAT Level 2, Security + CE
  • At least four (4) or more years of relevant experience in Information Systems
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience implementing, operating, and maintaining solutions.
  • Secret Clearance
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
  • U.S. Citizen

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Experience with data migration.
    • Experience with data analytics.
