In this role you will provide full-spectrum System Architecture support to the B-21 Program Office within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

This position includes both tele-work and government-site work requirements.

In this roll, you shall assist in managing and organizing resources and personnel needed to efficiently and effectively meet the objectives of each task, as well as exploring new approaches as applicable within the performance of these tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

Ability to perform analysis of as-is enterprise level infrastructure to include interoperability, ports/protocols, data/product transfer, and translate/document/brief/maintain products.

Must understand the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and create/update respective documentation/diagrams as needed.

Must work with a team of peer Contractors, Military, and Civilian personnel to ensure a successful cloud transition.

Ability to self-manage and identify "what needs to be done", present options/Courses of Action (COAs) to Government leadership with recommendations.

Work with the team to ensure all aspects of transition are accounted for, to include but not limited to, analysis, architecture development, documentation, planning, testing, migration, verification, communications plans, etc.

Experience with Project Management to include Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Must be proficient making network/ DoDAF type diagrams.

Must be proficient using MS Visio and other Office Suite products.

Support aircraft information management systems requirements, testing, certification, and spectrum management requirements, testing, and certification.

Help our cloud transition team perform an as-is analysis of the existing infrastructure.

Create, develop, update, analyze DODAF architecture like diagrams using software such as Visio.

Coordinate transition efforts with peer Contractors, Military, and Civilian personnel.

Perform Project Management like duties to ensure all interoperability aspects are accounted to coordinate with external agencies (outside current customer) to ensure supported Programs of Record requirements are met.

Use knowledge of Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) requirements, policies, and regulations to assist in defining requirements, complete CNS/ATM compliance matrices, and support testing and certification of aircraft and supporting systems.

Communicate with other engineering functionals including but not limited to crew systems, EMI, reliability and maintainability, manufacturing, and system safety.

Assist in performing engineering tasks in support of development activities including requirements definition, design, integration, test, and transition to operations.

You will provide assistance with the Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System requirements management tool.

Apply detailed knowledge of avionics engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration, all verification methods to include review of ICD, sustainment, modeling/simulation, T&E, and model based systems engineering. You will perform analysis, requirement analyses, and system capacity analysis, investigate alternative solutions and architecture trade-offs, make assessments, support operations concept development, and document results.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science plus 15 years of experience, or an ABET Master’s Degree plus 12 years of experience is required.

Active Top Secret security clearance.

Knowledge in avionics, software, computer, radar, and communications engineering principles.

Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (for example, must have and maintain active Security + CE (or equivalent)

Scripting experience (JavaScript, PowerShell, Batch, etc.)
