Position summary:
The Director of Quality Control position ensures the services we offer to our customers are being delivered to the level of our high standards. The ability to identify repair items that need to be repaired, replaced, or upgraded for the betterment of the customer. Identifying an issue, reporting the issue to the department manager and the ability to remedy the issue if needed. Also included, ensuring our warehouse and vehicles are in the best condition possible at all times.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of quality in the service and repair departments
  • Daily company wide fleet inspections
  • Estimate and seek approval for service upgrades, repairs, and renovations
  • Ensure facility cleanliness
  • Develop processes for maximizing efficiency in the role
  • Monthly mileage report data to Office Manger
  • Develop and maintain a vehicle inspection sheet that includes maintenance, damage evaluation, and cleanliness
  • Customer interaction/customer service
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose equipment errors, technical problems, and determine proper solutions
  • Electronically complete field service reports with our easy to use, state of the art industry specific software
  • Attend pertinent training seminars and educational classes (paid)
  • Promote positive customer relations
  • Maintain a company issued, new model service truck in a clean, organized manner
  • Assist other team members when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

Education and experience:

  • A college degree, electrical, or plumbing license will fetch top pay
  • HS diploma required
  • Experience in any of the following industries is a huge plus: aquatic, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, controls, troubleshooting
  • Any candidate that is mechanically inclined is urged to apply

Requirements:

  • Willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check
  • Possess a basic set of hand tools, sockets, and cordless saws/drills

Licences & certifications:

  • Clean drivers license with no moving violations in the last 3 years
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Preferred to already have a CPO license, but it can be obtained after employment.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7-9 hour daily shift

Benefits:

  • Starting pay up to $85,000 annually
  • Commission based sales bonus. 2.5% of total sales after goals are met
