Overview
Blue Yonder is looking for a talented, results-driven Senior Vice President of Marketing. This leader will be responsible for Global Demand Generation, Business Development, Digital Strategy, Global Events, and Marketing Operations. This leader will join our award-winning, fast-paced, energetic marketing team and drive growth initiatives across the three Industry verticals of Retail, Manufacturing and Logistics.
The successful candidate will bring passion, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role and will have demonstrated a proven track record of success in driving Global Demand Generation and Business Development results both in region and globally.
The ideal leader has strong campaign execution experience, a business-oriented approach to reporting on results of the campaigns and teaming with the sales organization.
Scope
  • The role will lead a Global team of approximately 105 associates across global demand generation, business development, digital marketing, global events and marketing operations.
  • Working cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, corporate communications, industry strategy, product management, and others you will develop compelling go-to-market demand generating plans including field marketing, events, Account Based Marketing (ABM), and campaigns that will drive pipeline and revenue for all three industry verticals across all regions.
What you’ll do:
  • Lead the team to develop and execute end-to-end campaigns by collaborating with sales, product marketing, creative marketing, and other stakeholders across various channels, including ABM 1:1 and 1:few campaigns, email marketing, webinars, key events, digital advertising, direct mail and/or social media marketing to achieve sales bookings goals.
  • Lead team to execute innovative and creative Demand Gen and ABM programs to generate pipeline from concept through execution, i.e., strategy, timeline, budget, design and content support, campaign development and campaign measurement.
  • Lead the team to create and execute internal and external customer facing events including Sales Kick Offs, President’s Club, Customer Conferences, Industry Events and more.
  • Manage the digital team including all blueyonder.com presence, marketing technology stack including SFDC, 6Sense, Marketo, Drift, Salesloft, and more
  • Measure and analyze all marketing efforts to drive ROI and ensure sales booking targets are met; establish regular reporting cadence, present outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively manage the budget with finance business partners and procurement partners for all global marketing spend including headcount, contract workers, 3rd party spend, etc including monthly forecasts and actuals, end of year closing, annual planning and more
  • Establish the KPIs / performance metrics that will be used to manage the performance of the combined demand generation and BDR teams by collaborating with sales and marketing operations teams, create, build, and manage an enterprise level “scorecard” for performance using analytical tools.
  • Create an on-going feedback loop across marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams. Embrace experimentation across teams in an effort to develop best practices across messaging, marketing segments, and prospect lists based on key learnings gained in the demand generation function.
What we’re looking for:
  • 15 years in demand gen, global marketing – global enterprise SaaS experience a plus
  • Proven track record of driving increased conversion rates across the funnel to drive pipeline and revenue bookings.
  • Knowledge of best practices in B2B demand generation, ABM, lead conversion and nurturing programs
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and executive presence, with the ability to develop positive and professional relationships with cross functional teams across domestic and international markets
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a metrics-oriented marketing environment, comfortable with analytics, metrics and working within automation tools such as Marketo, SFDC or similar
  • Experience with account-based marketing tools such as 6Sense, Engagio, Triblio, DemandBase, etc and marketing technology tools such as Drift, Sendoso, Salesloft, etc is a plus
  • Some travel required

The salary range for this position is $277,075.00 USD - $369,425.00 USD
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
