Job Description:
Patient Appointment Scheduler is responsible for maintaining a friendly, warm, and inviting tone when speaking with patients. It is important that Patient Appointment Schedulers are polite, attentive, and organized. Additionally, they should be able to effectively communicate with patients and assist them in any way possible.
Job Responsibilities:
· Scheduling patient appointments for consultations, medical procedures and follow-up visits
· Answering phones and greeting patients
· Performing reminder calls for upcoming appointments
· Communicating with team members about changes to schedules
· Filing paperwork
· Coordinating daily schedules of medical providers
· Resolving scheduling conflicts
· Scanning patient paperwork
· Any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
· Minimum experience of 1+ year as medical assistant
· Dermatology office experience a plus
· Minimum of 2+ years in customer service
· Knowledge of dermatology conditions
· Experience as a surgery scheduler
· Clinical experience or knowledge
· Medical knowledge
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, half day Friday
- 8AM-5PM, occasional overtime
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
