Support Worker - Bath - No Experience Necessary!

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Hours - Full time (37.5) and Part time (flexible)

Location: Twerton, Bath

We are looking for Support Workers in Bath to cover various shifts from Full-time to Part-time hours to suit you. We offer fantastic benefits, training and a great team environment.

In Bath we have a 5 bedroom, respite service located in Twerton which is used by people we support as a short term break service. The service has been used as a stepping stone on numerous occasions for some to move on to more independent accommodation or a residential setting. On some occasions the service has been used in emergency circumstances where other placements have broken down or main carers are unwell. The people we support have a wide range of needs.

Whilst here people are involved with development of independent living skills, arts & crafts, leisure activities in the home and a visiting a variety of locations in the community. Being located on the edge of Bath we enjoy the city and go further to Shearwater, Chew Lake & Bristol.

We match employees to the people we support in a personal way so all needs are met for both of you – the employee and the people we support - to have a positive outcome.

Drivers are preferred but not essential to be considered for this role.

What training and development & benefits are available?

  • A competitive pay rate of £10.50 per hour
  • up to 30 days of paid Annual Leave (including public holidays – pro rata)

- In addition to regular 1-2-1s and annual appraisals, we will help you develop and progress your career.

  • We will pay for and support you to complete the Care Certificate, a requirement for people working in the health and social care sector
