About the Opportunity
The Richmond Fed’s Corporate Communications – Executive Engagement team has an immediate opening for a Senior Support Specialist. The Executive Engagement team provides end-to-end support for the Bank President. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and collegial environment.

What You Will Do:
  • Produce and edit correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations, some of which are confidential in nature
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare and submit expense statements for reimbursement
  • Maintain and monitor calendars, files, emails, contacts, deadlines, and appointments for Bank President
  • Schedule meetings and arrange for necessary briefing materials
  • Maintain department records to meet requirements of audits and operations reviews
  • Perform purchasing, payment, and reconciliation activities
  • Act as a liaison to other departments
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for guests and work directly with them to coordinate meetings, travel, and other routine arrangements
  • Serve as a backup to Senior Business Analyst
  • Work on special assignments and plan special meetings or functions as needed
  • Exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in an executive office is useful but not required
  • High school diploma or GED
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with other various online applications
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
  • Attentive response to internal and external requests for information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
  • Effective working as contributor and member of a team environment
  • Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of assigned functional areas

  • Job title (Intermediate or Senior) and salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience.
    • The hiring range for the Support Specialist, Intermediate is $42,600 - $58,520, annually.
    • The hiring range for the Support Specialist, Senior is $50,800 - $69,850, annually.
