G3 Solar is seeking an experienced and driven Supply Chain Manager with Inventory Control Management experience to join our team.

Summary:

The Solar Material and Inventory Specialist primary responsibilities are to be responsible for supporting the daily operation. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for inventory maintenance, purchase order creation and lead coordinator for product logistics. This role will be a key contact for communication with agents and vendors regarding timely shipments and cost-efficient consolidation of product. This position plays a central role in building upon systems already in place to further improve interdepartmental communication, explore additional cost saving opportunities and to help improve the overall efficiencies of Inventory Management.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as first and primary point of contact for all matters related to the administration and oversight of the Inventory program.
• Responsible for optimizing the Company’s Inventory investment by setting efficient base levels for each Installation Crew member with the assistance of the Installation Director.
• Responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate ordering process as well as ensuring terminated installers return inventory timely.
• Responsible for accurate weekly and month end inventory counts as well as reconciling the weekly/month end variance and ensuring all orders are closed and returns processed timely.
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of internal transfers.
• Analyze returns and identify trends with both the manufacturer and the installation that may be an indication of a problem. Communicate findings regularly to vendors and Senior Management. Maintain relationships with Vendors and Distributors for resolving issues and feedback.
• Maintain the current “Item Master”, including accurate pricing information and ensure replenishment min and max’s are properly set.
• Responsible for all RMA’s. Specifically ensuring that the credits have been applied.
• Report regularly to Senior Management on the performance metrics of the department. Develop and maintain detailed reporting of Inventory related metrics, trends, auto replenishments and cost savings, cost avoidance numbers.
• Seek to automate, innovate, and generally improve processes to better control field inventory levels. Attend seminars and other continuing education opportunities to stay on the cutting edge of inventory and logistics thinking.
• All other tasks and duties reasonably associated with this position or directed by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Previous solar experience required.
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Be able to lift 60 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,295.35 - $65,389.31 per year
