Peckham Inc - Supply Chain Laundry Technician

SUMMARY
Will work in a small laundry area washing, drying, sorting, assembling and disassembling military organizational clothing and individual equipment. All laundry needs to be logged, by type and repair, tracking time taken to repair each garment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load laundry into washer.
- Unload wet laundry from washer and load dryer.
- Unload dryer and prep for repairs.
- Frequent daily lifting up to 10 pounds, moderate lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Daily use of computerized washers and dryers.
- Meets deadlines.
- Maintain repair equipment by following manufacturer’s standards of use and cleaning.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment.
- Work with supervisor towards meeting performance standards.
- load and unload conveyor.
- Accept other jobs/duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- No theft related charges for past 15 years (felony or misdemeanor)
- No felony of any kind for the past 5 years
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Motivated, self-directed, detail-oriented individual
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; ability to effectively multi-task
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Must be able to recognize discrepant 15-digit part numbers.
