The Supplier Development Platform Coordinator is considered an expert and consultant in his/her field; with knowledge, training, experience, and the ability to drive platform activity on the Crop Prod Platforms. This ideal candidate for this position uses personal competencies and leadership, individually or in a team, to ensure on-time completion of Design reviews, PPAP & APQP, Supplier selection process, and Platform launch milestones. This position is eligible for a flexible hybrid work model and is located in Benson, MN.

Accountabilities and Decision Making Authority :
Support the global product development process (GPD) for new products and ensure that suppliers meet CNH Industrial requirements per the Part Approval Process (APQP/PPAP).
Develop project plans and resources to achieve timing, quality, and cost objectives of all assigned platforms.
Supplier Quality representative for the platform meetings to solve quality issues (CPM, PIR, EWT, Q&R) coordinating corrective actions for priority items.
Supplier Quality representative for the platform warranty reduction activity.

Representative Activities:
Performs Supplier Quality Engineering activities for assigned Platforms, including but not limited to:
Ensure correct classification of all components on assigned platforms through Risk assessments.
Manage the significant CNH0, CNH1 and CNH2 items throughout the GPD process and ensure successful product launches.
Resolution of supplier quality issues and management of supplier quality performance -- SQP management, PIQ/PPM metrics, CPM resolutions.
Support warranty recovery projects -- technical support on warranty claims.
Qualification of potential suppliers and approval of components – PSA’s, business case, PPAP/IRW, PA, PPR, etc.
Support for new program launches -- Technical Review, QRA, Risk Assessment.

Position Dimensions:
The Supplier Quality Engineer –Platform Coordinator serves a vital role in working with suppliers in an up-front, preventative mode and in a problem-solving mode. Collaborates with suppliers, other SQE’s and relevant internal functions such as Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and the plants to guarantee the quality of components from the supply base for new product launches and current production.

Typical Decisions Made:
SQE Platform Coordinator determines priorities for and implement corrective actions for PIR's & CPM profiles, part approval activities, validate supplier corrective actions for new product launch and supplier development activities.
Annual base salary range for this role is $88,000 - $127,000. ( Actual salaries will vary and will be based upon various factors such as skill, experience, and qualifications for the role).
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience in quality engineering, supplier quality engineering, quality management and project management in a manufacturing environment. In lieu of Bachelor's degree will accept an Associate's degree with an additional 2+ years (5 years total) of defined work experience. Experience with crop production and sprayer equipment preferred. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint and Project) Ability to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid current U.S. driver's license
