As a Supervisor in our Revenue Recovery Practice, you will leverage your experience and expertise in the complex reimbursement methodology between hospitals and government insurance to deliver quality work products to clients. The Revenue Recovery Supervisor will oversee the team responsible for identifying missed revenue opportunities for hospitals and major healthcare systems.

The Revenue Recovery team is responsible for collecting data from various sources and analyzing data to identify inaccuracies and/or missed revenue opportunities. This position requires strong leadership skills, good time management skills, the ability to meet or exceed client goals and objectives in various scenarios.

Operational oversight of Revenue Recovery Service Line which includes both the Transfer DRG and Shadow Billing services. Assist Directors with managing the day-to-day operations of service line to include but not limited to:

  • Mentor and coach staff to achieve optimum performance
  • Monitor staff production levels to assure timely delivery to Clients
  • Assist with setting delivery schedules in coordination with the project stakeholder
  • Analyze hospital inpatient data and leverage Medicare databases to build financial models and report templates to identify client recovery trends and key performance indicators
  • Provides leadership and oversight for the billing and collections to meet budget goals
  • Supports EVP and Directors in achieving targeted contribution margin
  • Maintains client retention rate of 95% annually
  • Builds client relationships; develops a network of business contacts and conducts regular networking visits

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of hospital and/or healthcare consulting experience, specifically in financial, business and audit areas recommended
  • 2-4 years of experience in a team lead, manager or supervisor role in a provider or consulting setting
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care reimbursement
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and be service-oriented
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
  • Team-oriented and adaptable
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, generating positive client feedback on quality, value, delivery, and results
