A NEW warehouse logistics operation in Decatur, IL is seeking a Supervisor. This is a great opportunity with a nationally known company serving a large automotive customer by providing off-site storage.

Qualifications for Supervisor

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Previous logistics experience is a plus
• Previous inventory control experience is a plus
• Able to motivate, train, and develop people
• Strong customer service focus
• Able to plan and organize to meet customer demand
• Previous safety related experience would be a plus

Responsibilities for Supervisor

• Assist in keeping a safe work environment
• Lead, direct, and develop personnel
• Successfully preform day to day tasks assigned by the leadership team
• Oversee integrity and accuracy of all products leaving and entering the warehouse
• Lead professionally by example
• Manage day to day operations (Shipping, receiving, customer communication)
• Drive process improvement initiatives with Site Lead
