Supermarket Refrigeration Technician

Place Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Supermarket Refrigeration Technician. This position offers a highly competitive compensation package based out of the Knoxville, TN area. The work radius is primarily in TN and AL but could travel to GA when needed. This position will require mostly night shifts.

Position Overview:

Will be maintaining supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained temperature-controlled merchandisers. Will be diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems commonly installed in supermarkets and retail facilities and relocate/modify equipment as needed. Will be a support to other technicians and installers as a resource for information and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Must be physically able to walk distances, bend and crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift/carry objects up to fifty pounds, repetitively and for an extended period
• Able to provide prompt and detailed communications
• Have experience in mechanical troubleshooting and servicing
• Available to work nights and/or weekends

Qualifications:

• High School/GED and either Completion/Certification from an HVAC-R Technical School or 2 years of experience in HVAC-R is preferred
• 2 years min experience is preferred
• Have a Valid Driver's License and maintain a safe driving record in accordance with the Fleet Policy

Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour
