Job Summary

This position is responsible for supervising provider network data integrity, provider data quality assurance, and serving as a liaison with providers and internal functional areas to ensure that the department is effectively meeting the needs of providers and customers. Also responsible for controlling inventory levels, maintaining internal and external audit and regulatory compliance standards by tracking individual staff production and training needs. Responsible for beginning to end process improvements and enhancements and ensuring accurate processes for enterprise network additions. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, performance management, talent management and team building.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree OR 4 years business operations experience including quality oversight and databases
• 2 years management or leadership experience.
• Experience in a production environment with a focus on operations, state and federal regulations, industry standards and quality concepts.
• Experience implementing and managing projects and programs.
• Experience implementing policies, procedures, processes, and workflows.
• Analytical skills and experience identifying and resolving workflow and system problems.
• Written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to present clear, concise and accurate information; facilitate meetings and manage diverse groups, and build relationships with employees and external customers

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business
• Knowledge of Blue Chip claims and inquiry functions
• Knowledge of PREMIER Provider, PFIN, ODS and Vistar systems and BCBSTX products
