Overview:
Sunday River Outfitters is in search of Guides for the upcoming summer season. Guides will be responsible for teaching archery, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and new for summer 2023, axe throwing! Guides will also lead hikes once a week for our GRC guests. Guides will be tasked with sharing their knowledge and passion of the local area with attending participants. Full-time and part-time positions available, with a wage range of $16 - $20/ hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Archery, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, and Axe Throwing lessons
- Go on hikes with guests
- Maintain equipment
- Maintain Archery ranges
- Maintain snowmaking pond and boat storage
- Drive boats to and from kayak tour
- Drive guests to and from snowmaking pond
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- A recreational guide's license is a plus.
- Requires the use of judgment to determine actions to be taken.
- Aptitude toward problem solving and mechanical skills.
- Ability to teach and communicate with guests.
- Knowledge of archery, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
- Knowledge of hiking trails around the area is a plus.
