GENERAL DUTIES:
1. Be responsible for the spiritual welfare and mentorship of the Ignite! program participants.
2. Attend and participate in evening programs and spiritual activities.
3. Maintain a standard of cleanliness in personal grooming and in living quarters.
4. Assist with the clean-up of the total camp at the end of each session and at the conclusion of the summer.
5. Prepare and deliver the Christian Education Director camp brief at the end of the summer.
6. Assist with evening cabin supervision
7. Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Camp Administrator.


SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Safety and Supervision
1. Enforce camp policies and procedures
2. Maintain the utmost level of safety for staff and campers at all times.
3. Ensure compliance with American Camping Association standards of safety and programmatic conduct at all times.
4. Coordinate and implement all program components relative to the daily schedule in a timely fashion.


Weekly Responsibilities
1. Assume responsibility for the spiritual well being and development of the Ignite! program participants .
2. Plan and deliver daily prayer time and bible study for Ignite! program participants.
3. Establish an accountability system with Ignite! program participants that ensures compliance with all criteria within
the signed agreement (i.e. journal, scripture memorization, program assignments, etc.).
4. Coordinate with appropriate staff (Timberlake Program Director, Maintenance Crew Chief, Dining Room Hostess,
Units Leaders, Day Camp Program Director, etc.) all Ignite! program participant assignments.
5. Develop daily schedule for Ignite! program participants .
6. Work with the Christian Education Director to coordinate Ignite! program participants roles in daily chapel times.
7. Perform both scheduled and non-scheduled check-ins with every Ignite! program participant throughout the week.
8. Give oversight to break day release procedure of Ignite! program participants .
9. Perform weekly and end of season program evaluation with each participant. The end of season evaluation to be
done with D.Y.C.S., Camp Administrator, corps officer/pastor/youth pastor and parent if possible.
10. Complete a mid-summer and end of summer program brief for each of the areas assigned by this job description.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
2. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead.
3. Ability to operate telephone.
4. Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer.
5. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
6. Ability to access and produce information from a computer.
7. Ability to understand written information.
