SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

CAPE Environmental Management Inc (CAPE) is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support our nationwide federal remediation projects. This position will involve interfacing with subcontractor key management personnel, reporting procurement status to management, and ensuring timely delivery and quality of direct materials and services. A significant amount of interface is required with project personnel and various other functional departments. The ideal candidate will have experience with environmental remediation projects and be experienced in commercial and government procurement. Preference will be given to applicants whose background and experience demonstrate the skills and qualifications below.

SALARY:
$65,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

TRAVEL:
This is a full-time remote position. Limited travel may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Major Subcontract and Procurement experience
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and other commercial and government procurement regulations and policies
  • Experience with various subcontract types (FP, CR, FUP, LH, T&M, etc)
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work remote
  • Experience preparing high quality subcontract and procurement documents (RFP/RFQ, bid abstracts, price analysis, consent packages, purchase orders, change notices, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Able to understand and carefully follow both written and oral guidance/instructions
  • Resourceful and self-motivated
  • Abe to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to develop new workflows and solutions to meet specific project needs
  • Strong ability to learn quickly
  • 2 years of Subcontract and Procurement work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • NCMA Certification
  • Forty (40) hours continuing education course work in contract management
