The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in the College of Business is searching for a Student Teacher Assistant to assist professors and students with Business Application Development course.

Duties to include:

  • To assist undergraduate students with questions regarding Business Applications during class time.
  • To assist with grading assignments.
  • To assist with discussion boards and in-class support.
  • To assist with the course shell.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Java Programming.
  • Communication Skills.

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated.
  • Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end.

Work Schedule

  • 20 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday
  • Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Occasionally evening hours.

Advertised Salary


$12.00 per hour
