Job Goals: The Student Services Coordinator provides leadership, supervision and support for nursing, counseling, social work, and psychology services for students in grades PreK-12 in the Randolph Public Schools. The goal of the Coordinator is to ensure that each students social, emotional, and learning needs are met through a collaborative, whole-child, community approach. The Coordinator works closely with school and district personnel to ensure that all students are healthy, safe, supported, engaged, and academically challenged.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Coordinate and supervise, in conjunction with School Principals, the work of the Student Services Department (Nursing, Guidance and Social Worker Services), Home and Hospital Tutoring, and other programs for special populations as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent.2.Review the current Social Emotional Learning curriculum, make recommendations for enhancement and oversee the implementation of the SEL curriculum.3.Participates in the selection, supervision, and evaluation of educators and staff members in the Student Services Department, in consultation with building principals.4.Assists in the evaluation, interpretation, and use of appropriate Student Services assessment and survey data.5.In conjunction with members of the Student Services Department, identifies annual goals and reports progress on the goals.6.In conjunction with the Superintendent and other administrators, prepares draft policies and prepares draft revisions to existing policies on Student Services for School Committee consideration and adoption.7.Designs, coordinates, implements, and monitors the districts comprehensive PreK-12 Student Services curriculum.8.Leads the development of appropriate Student Services program activities.9.Serves as the Homeless Liaison for the district. 10.Assists in the coordination of Teacher Resources Teams (TRT) at each school, in collaboration with building principals.

11.In coordination of the Family Resource Center, coordinates parent and community engagement and curriculum support programs.12.Coordinates services with community agencies and identifies relevant community resources.13.Coordinates the selection of instructional materials, supplies, textbooks, technology, and equipment needed to support the implementation of the Student Services curriculum.14.Ensures the implementation of procedures for safe storing and integrity of all public and confidential school records; ensure that personnel and student record- keeping procedures comply with state and federal law and district policy.15.Summarizes, interprets, and disseminates key information about current developments in comprehensive Student Services program through reading of professional journals, participation in professional development, and involvement in professional organizations.16.Plans and facilitates professional development sessions for Student Services staff members.17.Develops and manages an annual operating budget for the Student Services department.18.Advise, inform, and act as a resource to the Superintendent, Director of Special Education & Pupil Services, other administrators, and staff on matters pertaining to the Student Services department.19.Prepare reports and statistics required by the district and/or state and federal government for the Student Services Department.20.Develop projects and write grants to obtain state and federal monies for programs and/or services for the Student Services Department.21.Prepare and maintain reports, records, and fiscal accounting on any federally or state funded projects relating to the Student Services Department.22.Review existing programs and services of the Student Services Departments and work with administrators to strengthen student services. 23.Serves as a resource to administrators and staff members regarding Section 504/ADA issues and implementation of procedures.24.Attends various district and school leadership meetings as requested. 25.Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Special Education and Pupil ServicesTerms of Employment: 12 month Administrative positionReports To: Director of Special Education and Pupil Services
