JOB TITLE: Student Events Coordinator

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Student Events Supervisor

JOB GOAL:

The Student Events Coordinator plans, organizes, and oversees frequent school sponsored activities and events for K-12 students and families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two or more years of related work experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize, and oversee frequent school sponsored activities and events for K-12 students and families
• Plan, organize, and implement community outreach efforts
• Promote school sponsored activities, events, and community outreach efforts through phone calls, email, mailings, flyers, and distribution of PA Cyber approved materials
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with students and families
• Create and maintain regional parent/guardian groups enabling them to coordinate and conduct activities and events within their regions
• Track attendance and complete post event reports
• Collect and track monetary transactions for events and complete financial reports as necessary
• As appropriate, collaborate with regional representatives and other applicable PA Cyber staff when planning activities and events
• Responsible for maintaining health and safety standards at school sponsored activities and events.
• Travel frequently
• Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
