Job Description:
Phoenix Labor Group is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of three years of experience to join our team as an Structural Welder. This position requires an experienced individual with advanced knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques. The Structural Welder will be responsible for welding, repairing, and modifying various structural components and structures. This individual must be able to work safely and accurately under pressure and tight deadlines, and must have knowledge of both MIG and TIG welding techniques. Again, you must have 3 years of experience as a Structural Welder, in a shipyard setting, so please make sure your resume reflects your shipfitting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in structural welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use power and hand tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of both MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
