This role leads a high performing team of 9 who help develop and drive the Strategy and Operations for the Focused Solutions Group (FSG) ensuring it achieves financial targets and long-term objectives. FSG, which is a part of PTC’s Digital Thread business, is a portfolio of high value technologies that deliver impactful Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Free Cash Flow (FCF) to PTC financial results with direct visibility to investors. FSG is focused on generating sustained Customer Value while also delivering Free Cash Flow to PTC with targeted, profitable growth across Software, SaaS, and Services. Each FSG business unit is led by a General Manager who has full Profit & Loss responsibility.

The leader of Strategy and Operations will help define, maintain, and execute the Management Operating Rhythm with the FSG leadership team and will serve as the “right hand person” for the FSG leader and the GM’s. This leader will be a key part of the long-term strategy discussions within FSG from an individual business unit perspective as well as at the FSG consolidated level to include Long Range Planning (top & bottom line), mergers and acquisitions, and key account management.

This leader will also be a key liaison to other corporate entities such as finance, central & revenue operations, HR, and corporate development. Operations team will support the forecasting process and the required analytics to support key metrics such as Net Retention, ARR, New Bookings, Backlog, and Churn to enable the BUs to make data driven decisions and optimize results.

Day-To-Day:

  • Drive the execution of the management operating rhythm to include forecasting (Net Retention, ARR, Bookings, Churn, P&L), key communications (All-Hands, Roadshows, Staff) and key FSG specific programs and projects.
  • Continuously liaison with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive execution of common projects and programs (compensation, corporate development, finance, People (HR)).
  • Provide rapid response to critical needs and asks from the business and leadership to ensure success.
  • Drive the sales and services operations to ensure proper execution of new and renewal sales bookings and services bookings / revenue.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
