The Gist...

The Strategic Communications Specialist will develop accompanying guidance documentation, training guides, maintenance procedures, and maintenance guides using strategic communications best practices, CBP style requirements, and graphic design.


What Your Day Might Include...

  • Lead planning, development, and execution of project tasks/deliverables and support the engagement manager in finalizing project tasks/deliverables.
  • Perform market research of technology solutions, best practices, and techniques for knowledge management solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, strategize interview techniques and develop interview questions, and hold interviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document stakeholder requirements and best practices based on interview feedback, document review, and market research; design and develop a no-code technology solution (e.g., Teams or SharePoint solution).
  • Develop strategic communications, trainings and training documentation, and technical guides.
  • Analyze external and internal customer requirements to identify new solutions, processes, and process improvements that will meet their business needs.
  • Assist in organizing and leading client meetings. This shall include scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following-up on action items.
  • Manage multiple assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products.
Requirements:

You will Bring These Qualifications...

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications including SharePoint.
  • Experience partnering with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communications skills across all levels of business, including written and verbal.
  • Ability to develop successful professional relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience working in DHS or CBP (not required but preferred)
