Position: Strategic Communication Lead (Contingent Upon Contract Funding and Client Approval)

Location: Crystal City, Virginia

Clearance: Secret

Education: Masters’ Degree

Outcomes:

The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes the first year in the position:

• Routinely craft senior leader messaging that is in line with mission objects and reflective of USSF culture within minimal correction.
• Perform accurate, high quality, and timely work which leads to positive CPAR rating.

Responsibilities:

The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ Space Force. To further the process of developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team continues to implement a multi-phased, (multi-year), plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial operating capacity to full operational capacity. The Strategic Communication Lead will support these efforts by performing the following functions:

• Provide direct support as needed, to inform senior leader decision-making, communicate senior leader decisions across the space warfighting enterprise and to the public, ensure strategic communications priorities are addressed.
• Proactively prepare, inform, and apprise stakeholder audiences on relevant Space Force implementation updates.
• Create strategic communication products such as congressional reports, hearing testimony, “question-for-the-record” responses, senior leader prep materials for informal legislative engagements, and summaries of specific interest items for members of Congress.

Qualifications: The candidate must have the following qualifications

• Secret Level Clearance
• Master's degree in an associated technical or line of business discipline
• Over eighteen (18) years of progressive experience in high-level technical and organizational support services.
