The Strategic Account Manager, Microelectronics – North America role will play a key role on our sales team, especially with current and key customers. This role will be asked to manage a current book of business, while also growing existing and new business for Donaldson. Ideal candidates for this role will have a strong technical background and previous key account management experience. This role can be based at our Bloomington, MN headquarters or remote, depending on experience.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow profitable sales in the Microelectronics sector (formerly Semiconductor & Imaging) in the North America region.
  • Expand customer base and penetrate key accounts in line with Donaldson’s strategic objectives (such as Intel and Micron).
  • Expand product offering at Semiconductor end-users by pursuing opportunities for Compressed Air, Dryers and Liquid filtration solutions in addition to our Core Lithography product line.
  • Build relationships with US-based OEMs and with US subsidiaries of overseas OEMs.
  • Propose sales strategy to meet Donaldson’s growth plan for the Microelectronics sector and capture growing market opportunities in the wake of the signature of the CHIPS for America Act.
  • Grow and manage sales team as appropriate to manage above mentioned expectations.
TRAVEL: Up to 50%
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and key account management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to handle technical sales in a field selling to highly qualified engineers
  • Track record of successful sales management
  • A background in chemical engineering is a plus
  • Work experience in the Semiconductor industry
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Team player, ready to collaborate with worldwide sales team
