Jay Group is looking for a Strategic Account Director to oversee a portfolio of client(s) in the ecommerce industry. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills and have experience and passion for interacting with clients, leading teams and problem-solving, as well as know-how of working with ecommerce clients.

  • Develop, maintain, and influence relationships with senior executives and business decision makers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Act as the Project Manager to bring strategic projects to a successful conclusion considering the scope, budget and timeliness of all requirements.
  • Develop and maintain multi-vendor relationships and leverage those to meet specific client needs.
  • Work collaboratively with Jay Group engineers on product development and implementation.
  • Establish relationships within the e-commerce industry.
  • Work with key contacts internally and externally to establish value & vision through continuous improvements.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, quotes, proposals, product overviews, and end-to-end solutions to customers.
  • Attend targeted trade shows and customer meetings as required.

  • Must have a successful track record leading strategic account planning, partner development, forecasting, and presenting business solutions.
  • The use of leadership skills, which demonstrate the ability to organize, develop, implement, and manage programs, processes, and personnel.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate well, both written and verbally, with customers, employees, and colleagues. Presentation skills are required.
  • Tenacity, boldness, assertiveness and a "will to win" in dealing with highly competitive situations.
  • High attention to detail and focused.
  • Ability to handle sudden priority shifts and be able to switch tasks easily without gaps in productivity and with an understanding attitude.
  • Highly responsible, resourceful, accurate, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and team building skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners, and customers.

Additional Information:

  • This position requires up to 25% travel.
  • This position will report to the President & COO.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of outside sales, marketing, account management, leadership in e-commerce.
