Position Reports To: Director Strategic Accounts


Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for the support to ensure that the Strategic Accounts Team is meeting the goals and objectives as outlined by the company. This will require a strong need to be organized and the ability to focus on the areas of responsibility. This position requires a professional individual with the ability to work with all teams and levels of our organization. You need to be as comfortable working within a fast-paced environment that offers new challenges daily.


This position is designed as a key support role within Protective Industrial Products (PIP) and has direct responsibility for project management, sales reporting and communicating to various levels of our Strategic Account Customers.


  • The Strategic Account Coordinator will have daily direct contact with the Director Strategic Accounts, Strategic Account Managers, Key Account Managers, and many departments inside the company.
  • This position will provide exceptional customer service to our sellers and will maintain positive relationships with all intercompany departments and external customers.


Day to day contact with PIP Strategic Account Team members, and other PIP departments will be necessary to ensure we meet the organizational and sales goals for the company.


Skills & Experience Needed:


  • Strong support skills.
  • The ability to develop and maintain a positive relationship with all PIP Departments.
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM, and SAP experience.
  • Background in project management
  • Professional telephone skills.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Project Management Skills – successfully managing the project process, while overseeing the people report creation, data analysis, team building, leadership and project direction, etc.
  • Multi-tasking, ability to meet deadlines, strong follow through.
  • A college degree is preferred.


Specific Duties:
Tasks that will be performed and/or managed on regular daily basis:


  • Actively engages with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights then disseminates information to relevant internal departments
  • Serve as the first POC for SAM/KAM regarding customer Database Mgt
  • Manage assigned projects and coordinate all internal resources in support of Strategic Accounts
  • Manage complex pricing requests and ensure pricing is up to date and accurate
  • Report monthly on scorecards that our customers keep on PIP take an active role on scorecard improvements
  • Internal Business Partner Liaison for Strategic Accounts
  • Develop and manage a calendar of events for Strategic Accounts, including but not limited to:
    • Pricing administration and timing
    • Line Reviews
    • Significant events, sales meetings, trade shows promotions, etc. by customer
  • Collaborates with the Premier Team as an additional resource for customers’ needs/requests
  • Provide Strategic Account insight to all internal business partners
  • Develop and maintain the necessary TDF and MITS reports i.e., update and maintenance of Entity files in TdF, review these reports with the SAM/KAM and any senior personnel regarding Strategic Accounts
  • Assist field sales with MITS & TDF reports, forms and documentation related to Strategic Accounts
  • Work with SAM/KAM to provide regular quarterly updates on forecasts to operations team
  • Support SAM/KAM and Finance team to ensure correct documentation for all co-op and customer agreement/rebate programs
