Store Manager

This position provides leadership in a retail setting of tax, bookkeeping and loan operations.

Duties of the position:

• Perform all management functions of the location to include loan, tax and other business services offerings in the store.
• Monitor metrics of the store to ensure financial goals are being reached.
• Monitor the budget for the store.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations as well as program expectations of company agreements.
• Train staff to carry out store operations with efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy.
• Lead staff in a level of customer service commensurate with our values and goals.
• Assist to develop and execute a plan for marketing and business development.
• Establish a team environment with clear goals and a high level of customer service.
• Maintain current knowledge in tax preparation, loan processing and compliance and other areas of business services.

Requirements:

• Willingness to obtain tax knowledge to reach status as an Enrolled Agent with the IRS to prepare tax returns.
• Desire to manage a single location.
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required depending upon experience.
• Work experience in a team setting where your role is dependent upon the success of others and where others success is dependent upon your performance.

Schedule:

• Work hours for this position are an average of 40 hours per week. However, during spring tax season additional hours will be required.

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
• Benefits include option of health insurance, dental, vision.

Experience:

• Tax experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Management: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)
