Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Long-term Care Facility in Warren PA

Salary: 23 a hour

Job Description:

Our long-term care facility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Monitor and record vital signs and other health indicators

- Assist with feeding and nutrition management

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

- Communicate with healthcare providers and family members to ensure that residents' needs are met

- Comply with all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to long-term care

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current certification

- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to provide compassionate care to residents

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a long-term care facility or other healthcare setting

- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems

- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
