Gifford Health Care is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to work in our Randolph, VT location. The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontaminating instruments and assuring sterility of all processed items following AAMII, AORN, and Gifford Standards. This position will also be responsible for assembling instrumentation accurately and efficiently, managing the instrument inventory, and assuring timely distribution of instruments to all customers.

This role has an essential function of working in concert with the nursing staff and physicians within the OR and Endoscopy units. will deliver the highest quality of care to patients and have the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, high demand department.

Strong time management and effective oral and written communication skills along with visual and hearing senses to assist with varied operative procedures and surgeon's verbal directives are fundamental to the role.
