Williamsville Suburban, a long-term skilled nursing facility located in Williamsville, New York is seeking a Staffing Coordinator. The Staffing Coordinator will work closely with the Nursing Department to create and develop schedules for the facility. The Staffing Coordinator shall be responsive to the needs of the staff and manage their schedules in a fair and efficient manner to create a dynamic and effective workplace.

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Create completed monthly schedule for nursing employees according to facility needs and budget;
  • Use company software to effectively and consistently create schedule according to facility needs and budget;
  • Report open shifts to HR and Administration for hiring purposes;
  • Manage employee vacations, FMLA Leave, PTO, Sick, and Light Duty in the monthly schedule;
  • Fill open shifts in the daily schedule as a result of call-outs or no call no show;
  • Track absences, lateness, call-outs and no call no shows and report to the Director of Nursing for disciplinary action if necessary;
  • Provide daily reports to Administration with number of employees who worked each day;
  • Perform other related job duties as required;

Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Nursing Home experience preferred but will train qualified candidate,
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Scheduling experience preferred;

There may be repetitive motions of the wrists and hands, extended periods of stationary activity and other conditions common to a clerical position.
