Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to support the FBM program. Candidate will work in a team environment to deliver custom applications to meet our customers' needs.
Duties include all aspects of the software development lifecycle to include:
This position requires U.S. citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to support the FBM program. Candidate will work in a team environment to deliver custom applications to meet our customers' needs.

- Requirements analysis
- Design
- Development
- Testing
- Application Deployment
- Operational Support
- Backlog Management
This position requires U.S. citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications:
- 17 years of professional experience in an IT field; or 9 years of professional experience in an IT field with a related Bachelor's degree; or 7 years of professional experience in an IT field with a related Master's degree.
- Highly proficient in full-stack software development using C# (.Net Core) and Angular within a microservice based architecture
- DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Experience working in Agile teams using SAFe, Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies
- Proficiency in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- AI/ML machine learning experience
- Experience engaging with Department of Defense customers and stakeholders
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to get results from teams without direct authority
Clearance Level: Secret
