Ascendo Resources is seeking a rising star Staff Accountant for its esteemed client, a national provider of paper packaging products offering rotations in Corp Accounting, Cost Accounting, Internal Audit & Corp Tax.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform Cost Analysis
• Process Corp Fed, State Tax filings
• Participate in Internal Control testing and workpaper preparation
• Participate in month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Process/Track company credit card charges, account statement reconciliation, and review of expense reports.
• Prepare schedules for external review.
• Costing Inventory.
• Assist with account collections.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred) .
• 2+ years of related experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP or Hyperion
• Strong communication skills
• Driven and excited by working in a dynamic, varying environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
