Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), Dairy Brandshas an opening for a Sr. Sales Analyst (Virtual) position.

• Use data and reporting tools to deliver insightful, compelling and effective analyses with customers that result in increased volume for customers and DFA Dairy brands
• Build, foster and maintain long-term, fruitful relationships with assigned customers through objectives and detailed analysis, insights development and presentation
• Conduct regular business reviews with assigned customers to affect business growth
• Support sales leaders with new item and distribution selling analyses and presentations
• Provide Ad hoc analyses as needed
• Provides proactive analysis of business conditions along with presenting material to customers
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team in the preparation and delivery of the annual JBP, Quarterly Sessions, and line reviews
• Create fact-based selling stories to drive insights into action and utilize presentation skills to articulate the data along with presenting information to customers.
• Proactively recommend product assortment, product placement, and promotions, which meet customer objectives and DFA Dairy Brands sales goals.
• Own and maintain standard reporting, while proactively highlighting business opportunities.
• Supports sales in the planning process around identifying strategic opportunities, analyzing and aligning with the team's business plans, in conjunction with meeting customer needs.
• Provide promotional event analyses; make suggestions as to how promotions and category performance can be improved
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify drivers of business results and make appropriate recommendation.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of CPG sales, sales analysis or category/space management experience (for Walmart, I would like to increase experience to 5-7 years as we need a more senior level person).
• Experience with understanding syndicated retail information and sales analytic software (IRI/Nielsen, JDA Space Planning, etc.).
• Skilled in data retrieval and database manipulation and organization.
  Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10-20%).
  Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  Ability to manage multiple priorities.
