Position Summary

QDOBA is looking for a talented and results-driven Senior Manager of Regional Marketing and Partnerships. In this role, you are a both a strategist and a master of tactical execution. You and your team will create brand awareness and increase sales and traffic via regional marketing programs and partnerships. You will develop and execute regional marketing strategies for company-owned restaurants. You will consult with franchise business owners to assess their marketing needs, develop relevant strategies, and help them to execute marketing solutions. You will establish partnerships with key and complementary organizations and brands and bring those partnerships to life.

Summary of Duties

  • Set regional marketing strategy and oversee execution
  • Support franchisee business owners by helping them to define their local marketing strategies and supporting their implementation.
  • Lead execution of all regional marketing efforts and tactical support for new restaurant openings in company-owned regions.
  • Author playbooks and toolkits that provide marketing guidance to restaurant operators. Encourage adoption throughout the chain.
  • Analyze performance of programs, and adjust programs based on results and learning.
  • Lead national and regional partnerships strategy. Responsible for program development and execution.
  • Subject matter expert on competitive environment and understanding promotional/ regional marketing trends.
  • Lead, inspire and develop small team of direct reports
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute and assess regional marketing programs. For example: marketing to introduce new menu items, agencies to build local media plans, creative team to develop effective materials, and data analytics for results measurement.

Qualifications/Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, business administration, or related field.

Experience: 5-7 years field marketing experience in a multi-unit concept, preferably in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry. Experience working with franchisees and as a supervisor are a plus.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Strategic thought leader who can identify opportunities that can grow the business, articulate a clear vision, and expand our marketing capabilities.
  • Able to define a clear strategy and the supporting tactical plan
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to take projects from concept to completion within tight timelines and within budget.
  • Able to build relationships quickly and be comfortable interacting at all levels across the organization and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experienced in presenting to and gaining buy-in from a variety of stakeholders, including franchisees
  • Adept at analyzing facts and data, and using them to develop insights and implications
  • Creative problem solver with strong results orientation who thrives on moving quickly to capitalize on opportunities or address unanticipated circumstances that impact the business.
  • Budget management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Able to travel 20-25% of time to new markets, restaurants, and other locations approximately as business needs require.

Pay Rate: $120,000-$140,000
