eBay is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, with experience leading Large projects of moderate to high complexity. The Project Manager will partner with sponsors and the broader organization to craft and contribute to the project vision, running overall project health, leading a team of cross functional individuals to achieve sophisticated objectives while building positive relationships.

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills preferably with a focus on Agile methodologies, strong presentation skills and an ability to influence across boundaries, encouraging collaboration and relationships. This individual will lead projects which are internal to the Global Customer Experience organization, or interplay with the business unit (Marketplaces).

• Plans for and runs projects with responsibility for leading cross functional teams to achieve often, sophisticated objectives
• Lead and direct overall project and assigned resources to achieve desired outcomes
• Ability to plan for and deliver on new concepts for the business
• Provides leadership oversight and has responsibility for developing and leading the project health e.g., schedule, budget, quality, change plan, including developing and maintaining appropriate documentation and risk/issue identification and planning
• Can effectively navigate the global organization, inside and outside of GCX, incorporating external collaborators
• Brings a market and customer-centric orientation to all aspects of planning and development
• Can work on detailed cases from early concept through implementation
• Works autonomously whilst ensuring appropriate visibility with collaborators
• Effectively communicates sophisticated strategies to others, interfacing at different levels
• Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action
• Can synthesize information from multiple sources and use it for effective decision making
• Champions growth and innovation in others
• Comfortable handling complexity and ambiguity and can help others in this regard
• Manages change effectively to ensure readiness for all key partners

• This is a hybrid role which requires the employee to be based out of either our Salt Lake City, UT or our Austin, TX office
• 6+ years minimum, hands on combined project and program experience desired
• 3+ years experience in a large, cross functional organization
• PMP or Agile certifications desired
• Preferred skills in project management supporting Sanctions, Anti Money Laundering (AML), or Know Your Customer (KYC)
• Demonstrated track record of leading large/XL Projects of varying complexity
• Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing efficient and effective solutions to sophisticated business problems
• Experienced at working on detailed cases from early concept through execution and ensuring visibility with partners
• Experience leading cross functional teams across regions, locations, and time zones, preferably in an agile environment
• Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver executive level summary reports and presentations
• Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills
• Naturally innovates and working with the unknown
• Makes sound decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure
